Antonia Wright nutzt ihren Körper als Medium, um Fragestellungen zu präsentieren, die sich auf das menschliche Dasein beziehen. Als Konzept- und Performance-Künstlerin erzeugt sie eindringliche, visuelle Erfahrungen, die auf die menschliche Auffassungsgabe Einfluss nehmen.

In den Filmen mit dem Titel "Are you OK?" (Alles in Ordnung?) filmt sich die Künstlerin selbst, wie sie an unterschiedlichen Orten in Miami, New York, Paris und Havanna weint, und dokumentiert die Reaktionen der Leute, die vorbeigehen. Der Zuschauer dieser Aufnahmen beobachtet das Geschehen aufmerksam und hofft auf eine zwischenmenschliche Interaktion als eine Art Lösung.

Dadurch werden soziale Strukturen von der Künstlerin hervorgehoben. In ihrer Arbeit "Be" bedeckt Wright sich mit 15.000 lebenden Honigbienen, während sie eine Tai-Chi-Übung ausführt. Die Performance reflektiert die Möglichkeit, in einer Situation großer Bedrohung in Gelassenheit zu verharren. Ihre Arbeit zeigt die Verhandelbarkeit von Gegensätzen – Gefahr und Verwundbarkeit, Stille und Gewalt, sowie schließlich Anmut und Destruktion.
